JIB Gold Card Electricians Required
An opportunity has arisen for experienced Gold Card Electricians to join a modern, rapidly expanding specialist electrical contracting company, serving a wide range of cutting-edge new build electrical generation sites across the UK. Our latest addition will be responsible for working constructively in a team, working safely and to a high standard, with good communication skills.
The job requires travel throughout the UK, including overnight stays, and overtime rates apply after 45 hours of work. We pay door-to-door rates.

Responsibilities
- Install cabling containment and support systems (ladder-rack, channel, and cable trees) to ensure a quality installation
- Installations using exothermic welds (CADWELSs), compression joints, welding/brazing, bare-to-bare connections, resin moulds, and flat bar or bare conductors.
- Follow work programs, drawings, and instructions effectively
- Completing work orders and recording materials that are used on the job
- Installation and maintenance of wiring and electrical components
- Performing safety checks on electrical units to ensure they meet regulatory standards
- Making, reading, and evaluating technical plans and drawings
Qualifications & Skills
- ECS GOLD Card
- 18th Edition
- AM2
- Level 3 NVQ
- City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing (or willing to work towards)
- SSSTS (Preferred)
- IPAF (Preferred)
- PASMA (Preferred)
- Full Clean UK Driving Licence
Skills and experience with:
- 3-phase systems, SWA cable tray, and trunking
- Experience in DNO Substations and containment
- Circuit Breakers
- Electrical Components
- Switchgear
- Solar Installation
- Test Equipment, Electrician installations#
- Cable trays & SWA Trunking
- Confident and clear approach when communicating
- Must be willing to spend at least 3 nights away per week
- The ability to build and maintain relationships
- Enthusiastic and positive attitude
- The ability to work on one’s own initiative
- Must be reliable, punctual, and above all honest
- Good attention to detail and high standards of work ethic
Pay: Basic up to £43,000.00 per year
